The first four Hawaiian Express releases came out together, on cassette tapes only, shortly after the 1996 Summer Tour (featuring Grapefruit, The Power Pellets, and The Raymonds).
Prior to the tour a mail-order catalog was organized, and making additional recordings available seemed like a logical next step.
This show comes from "Monday Night Live" on Hawaii's only college radio station.
